Enhancing Water Access in Qena

At Anasia Group, we believe that creating value goes beyond business—it extends to making a meaningful impact in the communities we serve. Guided by this commitment, we launched a CSR initiative in Qena aimed at enhancing water access and improving water quality for local residents.

Project Objective

The objective of this initiative was to support sustainable water management by improving the monitoring and control of water flow within local water stations. By ensuring accurate measurement and efficient distribution, the project aimed to provide a more stable and reliable water supply to surrounding communities.

Why Anasia Group Committed to This Initiative

Water is a fundamental resource that directly impacts quality of life, public health, and community development. Leveraging our expertise in industrial solutions and process automation, Anasia Group saw an opportunity to apply our technical capabilities to address a real community need—ensuring that clean water reaches homes more efficiently and sustainably.

Partnership & Technology

This initiative was carried out in collaboration with Life From Water Institute, with the integration of advanced flow measurement technology from our trusted partner Endress+Hauser.

As part of the project, two Endress+Hauser flowmeters were installed across two different water stations in Qena. These high-precision devices are designed to accurately measure water flow, enabling better monitoring, control, and optimization of water distribution.

Purpose of the Flowmeters

The installed flowmeters play a critical role in:

  • Ensuring accurate measurement of water flow
  • Supporting efficient and fair distribution of water
  • Reducing water loss and improving resource management
  • Enhancing the overall quality and reliability of water supply

A key step in the project was meeting with the management of the Qena Drinking Water and Wastewater Company. The team was warmly welcomed, and constructive discussions were held to understand the operational challenges faced by the water stations. This collaboration ensured that the solution was aligned with real on-ground needs and priorities.

Following the initial alignment, Anasia Group’s engineering team traveled to Qena to oversee the full implementation process. The journey included site inspections, technical assessments, and the installation of the two flowmeters at separate water stations.

Like any field-based technical project, the implementation presented several challenges, including:

  • Adapting to existing infrastructure conditions
  • Ensuring precise installation within operational environments
  • Coordinating logistics across different locations

Despite these challenges, the team worked efficiently to ensure accurate installation and seamless integration of the flowmeters.

The installation of the flowmeters resulted in:

  • Improved monitoring and control of water flow
  • Enhanced efficiency in water distribution
  • More stable and reliable water supply to local homes

Beyond the technical outcomes, the project contributed to improving daily life for the surrounding communities by supporting access to cleaner and more consistent water.

This initiative reflects Anasia Group’s commitment to leveraging expertise, partnerships, and innovation to create sustainable impact. By turning technical capabilities into real-world solutions, we continue to support communities and contribute to long-term development.
